Cartagena in the times of Corona

Since Cartagena went into lock down I had been documenting and taking pictures of everything around me and whenever I’m allow to go out. And during these two months I had taken almost 1,000 pictures and videos, since pictures allow me to capture moments, memories and freeze them in time; and I realized that in the process I am documenting in a way a moment in history.

At first it was just something personal, but now I decided to share them in a series call "Cartagena in the times of Corona". Many of them are unedited, as shot, raw pictures capturing a moment, a place or a person, so please click on the slide show and hover over them to take a look to some of the captions for my perspective or background. I hope you enjoy them and that we can all go back to “normal”soon..

Friendly Disclaimer: Please note that I don’t claim to reflect the reality for all Cartagena because I know circumstances and reality are a lot harder, but just to share what I am able to capture within my surroundings. Also I am not a photographer, or I presume to be, just someone that appreciates photography and just trying to capture this unprecedented times.

I will continue to add more pics, so make sure to come back and check them here or on instagram @laguiactg. I would love to make this more comprehensive and add pictures from other areas of the city and even the same area, so if you have some please email them to me at info@laguiacartagenera.com and I will make sure to credit you on the website or social media.
